Indiana University Engaged Learning Website

The project involved redesigning Indiana University's Engaged Learning website to enhance user-friendliness. The existing website contained valuable information on programs, opportunities, and funding, but the main offerings were not easily accessible. The design needed to be modernized while ensuring that key information was more readily available to users.

The primary goal was to restructure the website's navigation to highlight its main features prominently and to revamp the overall aesthetic to a more sleek and modern look. This would facilitate a smoother user journey and encourage deeper engagement with the content.

The navigation bar was reorganized to bring the most sought-after sections—such as "Programs and Opportunities," "Find Funding," and "Explore Stories"—to the forefront, making them instantly accessible from any page. The search functionality was enhanced to provide quick, relevant results, encouraging users to explore the site's extensive resources.

The visual design was overhauled to reflect a contemporary and clean style, with a focus on ease of use. The use of whitespace, modern typography, and a color palette aligned with Indiana University's branding contributed to a more inviting and professional interface.

The redesigned website now serves as a more effective portal for students and faculty, promoting engaged learning activities such as undergraduate research, community engagement, internships, and study abroad programs. The new layout and improved accessibility underscore the university's commitment to providing a supportive environment for academic and career development.
