Wayfarer Travel Website

The project entailed designing a new landing page and mobile app for Wayfarer, a travel discovery website. The challenge was to create an intuitive and visually appealing interface that would facilitate travel research without direct booking services. Key features had to include a multifunctional search bar, user account access, a destinations list, and an effective newsletter subscription call-to-action.

The goal was to enhance the user experience by providing a seamless navigation system and engaging content that would encourage users to explore and return to the platform. The design needed to be both informative and inspirational, prompting users to sign up for more content and personalize their journey on Wayfarer.

For the desktop landing page, the solution was an enhanced search bar that not only served its primary function but also offered suggestions for popular destinations and accommodations. 'Log In' and 'Sign Up' were made readily accessible to encourage user account creation, and the destinations list was designed to highlight popular spots attractively. The newsletter subscription was strategically placed in the footer with a compelling CTA button to increase engagement.

The mobile app design included a friendly sign-in/log-in screen, an interactive list of destinations with a filter feature, and a detailed destination screen with striking CTA buttons to keep users engaged. The design was consistent across both platforms, with a focus on high-quality imagery and clear, inviting CTA buttons to guide users through their travel planning process.

The final designs delivered a cohesive user experience that aligned with Wayfarer's brand as a go-to resource for travel discovery, inspiring users to explore the world around them.
