This project was to create a compelling online presence for a unique laptop designed specifically for professional writers. Named "Typewritr," this laptop is engineered to minimize distractions, featuring no notifications, multitasking, or web browsing capabilities. It boasts a high-end mechanical keyboard for optimal typing and seamless integration. The company needed a website that not only highlighted these unique features but also strongly encouraged visitors to preorder the laptop, emphasizing a limited-time offer.

The goal was to design a website that mirrored the essence of Typewritr - minimalistic, distraction-free, yet highly functional. The site needed to effectively communicate the unique selling points of the laptop to professional writers, while also making the preorder call-to-action (CTA) the focal point. The design had to be sleek and professional, using a color scheme that resonated with the brand's identity and ethos.

In designing the website for Typewritr, I opted for a sleek, minimalist aesthetic, predominantly using black and white colors to align with the product's distraction-free nature. This choice of color palette also served to create a professional and sophisticated look. To highlight the key CTA - preordering the laptop - I used a pop of the brand's signature yellow for buttons, drawing attention effectively while maintaining the overall minimalist design. This strategic use of color not only reinforced the brand identity but also made the CTA stand out, encouraging immediate action. The website's design successfully represented the brand's ethos of simplicity and focus, while the prominent CTA for the limited-time preorder offer created a sense of urgency, compelling visitors to act swiftly.
